Description

ProMega office laminating film is designed to protect documents from mechanical damage and moisture, extending their lifespan and giving them a more presentable appearance. All ProMega office laminating blanks are 99% transparent and feature anti-glare properties. The wide range of ProMega office blank sizes allows you to laminate any document up to A3 format.
Recommendations for effective lamination:
1) Ensure the laminator temperature matches the film micron setting. The thicker the film, the higher the laminator temperature or micron setting should be. If the laminator is overheated (waves or bubbles appear on the finished sample), allow it to cool, otherwise the film will melt. If the laminator is cold, unlaminated areas or bubbles may form on the film during lamination. 2) If heavier paper (over 80 g/m²) is used for lamination, a higher temperature/micron setting must be selected on the laminator.
3) The laminating pouch must be loaded into the laminator with the sealed side of the pouch facing the laminator.

Important! Select the film format so that the edge (free space) around the document is 0.5-1 cm. The larger the edge, the stronger and more airtight the document will be. Encapsulate the document in the film pouch and heat the laminator. Load the film pouch into the laminator with the sealed side facing forward. After lamination is complete, allow the finished product to cool for 30-40 seconds. It is important to remember that the laminator temperature must match the micron (thickness of one side) of the film. Cutting the laminating pouch to the required format is strictly prohibited, as it will cause the film and adhesive layers to shift. During lamination, adhesive will clog the laminator rollers, and during subsequent laminations, the film will adhere to the adhesive residue on the rollers, which may cause the laminator to malfunction. If non-standard paper weights over 80 g/m² are used for lamination, a higher temperature must be set on the laminator. It is not recommended to laminate designer papers with uneven surfaces or tactile effects, as the film will adhere unevenly in these cases.
