"Tarzan. "The Adventures of Tarzan" is the first book in a series of twenty-two stories about Tarzan the Ape by American writer Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875-1950). It tells the story of the life of John Greystock (aka Tarzan), the son of an English nobleman, from the moment of his birth until his arrival in civilization. Under the influence of unexpected love, he gradually turns into a real gentleman.

During his literary career, E. Burroughs wrote a total of twenty-two stories about Tarzan, which were subsequently filmed many times.
