The book "The Poet and the Flock" by Lotte Wilma Vitigny

The children's illustrated book "The Poet and the Smell", written and illustrated by the young Latvian artist and poet Lotte Vilma Vītiņa, tells the story of a little poet who one day finds a poem in his nose, or maybe a cloud or even rain. From that moment on, he discovers the diverse and rich world of smells, which help him create and talk about his discoveries. In 2019, the book was awarded the Zelta Abele award, and in 2020, the Jānis Baltvilks award for the best illustrations. The book is intended for children up to 6 years of age.
