This remarkable volume is the result of the travels and years of research of the "author" Newt Scamander. The book describes the diet, reproduction and possible methods of protection against eighty-five creatures, if necessary. All supernatural creatures appear in the Harry Potter novels - either as full-fledged characters, such as elves and dragons, or simply as educational material, such as pixies.
