The book "Times of Sorrow" by Mario Vargas Llosa

Llosa's novel "The Times of Socal" is a historical and political novel about political intrigues and conspiracies, dictatorships specific to Latin American countries, and events developing in an unhealthy atmosphere, based on themes of corruption, the seizure of power, the corruption of morals, and human weaknesses. Published in 2019 and the first to be translated into Armenian in the world, this novel is a mixed story of international conspiracies and conflicting interests during the Cold War, which describes episodes depicting the relationships between superpowers and Latin American countries.
