The novel by Canadian writer Lucy Maud Montgomery "Anne of Prince's Island", published in 1915, presents to the Armenian reader a new story about the life of the red-haired and dreamy girl Anne Shirley, who has long been known ("Anne of Green Gables", "Anne of Avonlea").
This wonderful literary character, who has long managed to conquer the hearts of many readers, is presented in a new light. Anna is already a student and along with her university education, she also learns the lessons of life. She is also engaged in literary experiments, where, as everywhere, joy and disappointment follow each other.
The girl suffers from a cruel collision of dreams and reality. She goes through the sad paths of childhood, experiences the pain of losing a classmate and learns the torments of true love. Nevertheless, Anna maintains her pure dreams and ultimately achieves the most important thing: unfaithful and pure love.
