Florian Zeller: Playing

Florian Zeller's theatre is a theatre of the unity of contemporary European life and its undoubted paradoxicality. In almost all the plays, the existence of a married couple is impossible but necessary, and loneliness is equivalent to non-existence. The married couple is presented not in their happiness, but in crisis, family relations are woven into a web and a labyrinth. F. Zeller's Armenian collection of plays includes the works "Father", "Mother", "Son", "Truth", "Lie" and "The Other". These six plays, so different in thematic and sometimes stylistic features, run like a red thread through the drama of constructing and deconstructing illusion, acting as the basis and guarantee of the existence of the individual.
